Reward Programs are a great way to make a little money back with everyday spending. Some programs give points for purchasing from specific stores and when you reach the minimum required amount allow you to trade in your points for gift cards to various places. Other programs give a percentage of your purchase price back and upon reaching the minimum trade in level either gives you the money via check or savings bonds.
It is important to sign up for more than one reward program since some stores may be part of one reward program but not another and if you were only a member of one you would miss out. Here is how I do it: Once I have found the store I want to make a purchase from I check below (coupon code section) and see if there are any available coupons for the store. I then sign in to all of my reward programs (listed below) and see if the store I want to purchase from is listed. If the store is listed on more than one of my reward program I decide which program offers me the best incentive to purchase through. I make my purchase and when asked at the checkout page if I have any promo codes or coupons I enter the ones I found when I started. That is all there is too it. After receiving the item I purchased I sign in to the reward program I used to make the purchase and see if my money or points are listed for the purchase yet.
Every time I spend money I make money. And you can too !
