About us

We are parents to two small children and know how tough it is to try and save, not to mention trying to save for college. It seems so far away but the years go by quickly and it will be here before we know it.Our economy is not getting better and each of us needs to cut back in order to make it.

For years I have completed sweepstakes and earned quite a bit. I decided there must be other ways to earn free stuff and started searching for this. I learned about online shopping, coupon codes, rebates, online coupons, survey, etc. I use coupons for both grocery stores and online retailers, credit cards that earn rewards, programs that give rebates and the computer to price compare.

I save a lot of money using all the above and would like to share my experience to help other parents interested in saving. The more I save the more available money I have to contribute to my children’s accounts. Both of them have saving accounts and they also have prepaid college, since our state offers this. When I earn rewards in the form of cash I deposit the money into their accounts and our prepaid college program withdrawals it. No money is coming out of my pocket for college; it is all from the shopping/saving I do.

My husband, who is in the computer field, decided I should have a website to show others what I do. We gathered places I visit and listed them here. I placed tabs at the top to help decide where you want to visit and tried to make it user friendly. In the future, we hope to add a section for feedback where others can discuss what they like and what they would like to see.

Any chance I get to save a dollar I do it. Most of my shopping is online since I can do this when I have a spare moment, usually after the children go to bed. It is more convenient for me to comparison shop without having to travel from store to store, rarely finding any salesperson to assist me, while lugging my family too. If your children are like mine they always want to buy something no matter what it is. If the store does not sell toys they will take a coloring book, a pen, or a piece of candy. I rarely leave the store with just what I set out to buy and never spend what I hope to.

Please browse my site and see what you can find. Remember, everything you do today helps you save for later.
